JUMPSTARTING THE NEW YEAR: Before and after fotos

When I got home from Palm Springs on Monday, I was itching to take down my Christmas trees but I was so tired from the trip that I couldn't start once I got back.  After taking a nap, however, I felt inspired to start taking down my first tree.  I ended up taking down 2 trees that night, and then woke up a few hours before I had to go to work the next morning and took down the rest.

Any other year I could easily have left the Christmas stuff up until the early new year.  But this year, I moved into my new apartment on Nov 30 and Christmas stuff got put out that week.  My apartment is small and everything was displaced by the fact that my mantel was covered with trees and the things that I planned to place there had to be stored in the closet spaces in the kitchen.  That in turn meant that my dishes were not put away in the kitchen.  You see what I mean??
